Samantha update
I just wanted to post a note about Samantha. We saw her cardiologist yesterday. He said that he is amazed at her progress. He for sees no problems in her future, and gave us a 2 year pass. When she is 4 they will do an echo on her heart, but he is very optimistic that she will be fine. She has gotten big, which all of you know, but her growth has been very good. Dr. Womac said he could barely recognise her. 1 year ago, she was below the 5th percentile mark for her weight, and in between the 5th and 10th percentile for her height. Now she is well into the 50th percentile for both. She is a happy, healthy almost 2 year old. Thank you everyone for all the prayers while she was sick. This last year has been amazing. Watching her heal and grow has healed my heart too.

Pretty much settled in.
We are pretty much all moved in now. It has been a long process,
but worth every minute.
We look forward to making many happy memories here.
Dinner with Grandma and Grandpa Blomberg
Now that we are in our new home, we had our first dinner with Paul and Susan. It was a great time. Showing then what we had done to the place was a treat. It was fun to see Samantha having a few laughs with her grandparents. We look forward to spending some more time with them next weekend at the cabin.

Gardener in training
Because it is a totally unreasonable request to have Samantha come in the house once we have let her out, we got her all the things she needs to help mom pull weeds.

Katie & Andy's wedding
Samantha and I prepared for Katie and Andy's wedding with pedicures. I have created a monster. She loves the bubbles on her feet and has made me pull
out the spa three days in a row.
But, we get pretty pink fingers and toes.
Katie looked amazing!
The first dance
Finally Home
We are finally all moved into our new home. The last piece of the puzzle (the furniture) arrived yesterday, and now the house is looking more and more like a home. Samantha has taken to the house pretty well. Better than I had expected. It was only that first few days that were not so good, but now, it is home.
I was determined to get Samantrha's room painted and her things put away before we moved and I thought that I would be able to take a little time. However, circumstances did not allow for such, so I stayed at the new house most of the night the day day before we moved and painted the walls a pretty pink and purple.
Part of Samantha's new room was this little vanity that Matthew decided she should have. Turns out, it is the her favorite thing. She is such a girly girl.
However, this is the result. Pretty cute...but a pain to clean off her face.
The new ottoman is a fun place to play too.
Samantha just cannot get enough of helping Mommy.
